2024-2025

‘24/’25 Notes

Wood Bridge Farm Noble Icon (2x GCH) is the star of the show this year. We're still pinching ourselves that he is here. He gets most of the does. We’ve also trimmed the herd quite a bit, so the list is small but mighty. We’ll be keeping a larger-than-usual number of doe kids this year.

Moon Station Aberama Gold should be arriving later this year on a lease, and we are strategically saving Gaiety and Aria for him. Aberama’s sister, CH Moon Station Ophelia, has us very excited about how Aberama could pair with the incredible general appearance of Gaiety and Aria.

sales policies

RESERVATIONS

We do not accept formal reservations. We do, however, keep a wish list, so let us know which breedings interest you, and we will keep that in mind. We ask for 50% of the purchase price as a deposit to hold the kid until transport or pick up.  Deposits are non refundable if the buyer does not go through with the sale. Bottle baby kids are expected to leave for their new homes by the time they are weaned (usually 8-12 weeks of age) unless other arrangements have been made with us. Keep us in the loop on your plans, and we will do everything we can work with you or your transporter.  We reserve the right to cancel a sale, at our discretion, if we feel it is in the animal's best interest to do so. In this instance, all monies will be refunded. In the event an animal is not transported or picked up within 90 days of sale or weaning - with no communication to make arrangements for the animal - all monies will be forfeited, and the animal will again be available for sale.

The balance remaining on any purchased goat must be paid in full before they leave the farm.

HEALTH

Animals are vaccinated, disbudded, wormed, tattooed, and ready to go when they leave our herd. Due to the stresses and risks of transport and the unknown conditions outside our farm, we cannot offer further health guarantees. Our herd tested negative for CAE, CL, and Johnes 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

TRANSPORTATION

We work hard to ensure your new goats arrive at their destination healthy and with as little stress as possible.

Farm pick ups are welcome and preferred!  Just check with us, and we will be happy to arrange a time and date. If not picking up from the farm, all transport costs and logistics through third party transports are the responsibility of the buyer. We also ship from MCO International airport, but keep in mind that Florida is hot and shipping via air from here is tricky.

Please Note: We make every effort to be accommodating on transportation, but we will not put any of our animals - kids or adults - in a situation that we feel could jeopardize their health or well-being.  This includes most commercial transporters. While every animal on that trailer could have a health certificate and come from herds that are tested clean of the big goat diseases, they could easily be exposed to other harmful conditions (such as soremouth, pink eye, or pneumonia, to name a few).  We feel it is in the best interest of our animals to avoid this situation when we aren’t comfortable with arrangements made.
